If you are experienced in HTML but
need assistance with the creation of your design then a Custom
Template is perfect for your situation.
What Is A Custom Template?
A Custom Template is a one or two
page design built to your color preferences and style that is
created in Photoshop and converted to an HTML layout with areas of
the pages prepped for your content. Once delivered, you would open
in your HTML editor and add in your content including images. Then
simply upload or publish your files to your hosting account.
What Do Custom Templates Include?
Our Custom Templates can be simple
or complex depending upon the request of the client. A list of
features is shown below as an example:
-
Flash elements (ex: logos or
banners)
-
CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) for
easier layout changes
-
rollover menus (menus with
mouseover effects)
-
multiple menus (ex: certain
sections of the site could have sub-menus)
-
can be multiple pages (ex: home
page could have different layout than supporting pages)
-
come with all source files (
Photoshop PSD files, Flash .fla files, etc.)
-
a 'blank' page ready for your
content to be inserted
The user would open the 'blank'
page, add their content, and 'Save As' the page name that they need
in order to add additional content and pages to their site. The only
other step is to be sure to place a link in the menu(s) or on a
related page that points to the new page.
How Are Custom Templates Delivered?
All templates are delivered in a
Zip format which includes all the source files and the actual
working templates in HTML format.
How Much Do Custom Templates Cost?
Good question. It totally depends
upon each request. However, a single page custom design begins at
just $300. Adding multiple features like Flash / Swish, special
menus, multiple menus, extensive CSS or PHP programming and other
more complex increases the cost accordingly.
What Software Do I Need To Modify My Custom
Template?
The complexity of the template
determines the answer to this question. However, at the very least
you would need Photoshop 7.0 or higher and an HTML editor such as
FrontPage or Dreamweaver. In the event that a FrontPage specific
template is ordered then you should have FrontPage 2003 in order to
ensure compatibility.
How Can I Order A Custom Template?
Easy! Just click the link below to
complete our custom template order form. Then we will contact you to
go over the specifics of your site's needs and theme. We use color
matching tools to help you decide on color schemes and graphics. We
create up to three mockups from which you will choose the working
model which is then refined to your specifics to its final version,
sliced in ImageReady and made into your working template.
